
Meet Chef Antonin
Born and raised in Boise, Idaho. Antonin Filicetti has over two decades of culinary experience with a background in nutrition and gut health. Antonin spent a decade as a farmer focusing on regenerative agriculture and soil health. He enjoys highlighting local seasonal flavors and ingredients, weaving foraging & fermentation into his dishes that tell the stories of the land and water around Idaho and the PNW. A community organizer who uses food as the vehicle to bring people together, engaging us in conversations about why the local land matters and how we can uplift and support our local farmers, ranchers and producers.
Our Story
Soil To Soul offers the community relationship rooted food. We provide a space where people can set aside their differences and remember our shared humanity. Our dinners and events are a platform for people to get to know their local farmers, cultivating community one shared meal at a time. Our dinners and events offer a somatic approach to reconnecting people to the land around them through shared culinary experiences, live music, N/A drink pairings, gut friendly foods and a chance to meet and shake the hands of the people who root the foundation of our local food system.
Healthy food starts with healthy soil. The microbes in the soil, similarly to the microbes in our gut, help produce the most nutrient dense food, health, and vitality. Soil health and gut health are two things we focus on with intention. We are always seed oil free, and chose to purchase from farmers who do not use glyphosate on their soil. Soil to Soul is about rooting culture in healthy soil and the love and care our producers have for that they do.
